Beautiful Desert Lodge
We stayed here twice; once on our way to Walvis Bay and second on our way back home. It is in a stunning location in the desert with absolutely nothing around! We loved the pool - it was a lifesaver in the heat! And our dogs had a wonderful time! The sunsets are spectacular!

Hervorragend
It's a basic but very homy lodge. The beds were comfy, the rooms were simple but charminb and the owners were very friendly. We also had dinner at the lodge (3 course meal), great value for money. Don't try to find the lodge with google maps; after Maltahöhe there is a sign with the neme of the lodge; just follow the sign.

Breathtaking
We stayed in this lodge for our first night in Namibia having driven from Windhoek. I stumbled across it while looking for a stop on the way to Lüderitz and I’m so
glad I did.
Simply, this place is stunning. I wish we could have arrived sooner but we got there in time for sunset and to see some Wildebeest walking to a waterhole in the distance! The welcome was warm, the
room was great, the meal was fantastic and the beer was cold! We were the only guests which made the place seem even more secluded and peaceful!
The next morning we woke up at 6am and sat on the patio watching the sun rise over the vista in front of us with Dassies sitting 10 metres from us!
After a delicious breakfast we went on a well marked 5km hiking trail, where we saw some beautiful Gemsbok!
I wish we could have stayed longer, it was just perfect!

A true African setting.
My Mom and I unfortunately spent only one night at Namseb Lodge on the 7th of June this year, as we were just passing through the area on our way to the Fish River Canyon ; on our arrival we were escorted through to our self-catering chalet by Charlotte, who greeted us warmly and was very professional ; the chalet was everything we could have asked for ; it was well equipped and very comfortable ; a nice touch were the little chocolate toffees on the rolled-up towels on the beds ! The chalet we stayed in was right on top of the ridge with an absolutely amazing view over the thorn-veld stretching out towards the mountains in the distance ; It was sad having to leave the Lodge the following morning, but if im in the area again, I will definitely stay there again, but then for more than just one night.
